The conservation status of gibbons in Vietnam

Resumen

This conservation status review of gibbons in Vietnam has required a high level of collaboration in order to attempt to be comprehensive, and the number of authors who provided individual contributions gives testimony to those efforts.Needless to say we are just a small group of individuals and the rigour which we believe this status review has achieved would not have been possible without the support of a much larger number of individuals to whom we are most grateful.Prof. Colin Groves of Australia National University, eminent in the field of primatology, lent his authority to this status review with a critique on the section on the taxonomy of Nomascus annamensis.
